My wife and I had dinner here based on recommendations of others. we were not disappointed. The food is fresh and well prepared, however if you want a lot of seasoning on your food this is not the place. The food is meant to be tasted, the chef apparently does not believe in a lot of spices; there are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The night that we went there were no entree choices, although they had a small amount of venison if you did not want beef. There was also a choice of salad or appetizer. The fish that we had was exceptional, we were not sure exactly how it was prepared, but it was perfect. The beef and venison were very good, but not exceptional. Also you have to be willing to try something different since the vegetables were not what you would ordinarily see. The portions were just right and the price, for the quality of the food, was not outrageous. At a steakhouse dinner would have been much more. we also had the recommended wines and they went very well with the food. The room is not fancy and it is loud. The menu is posted each day, allowing you to decide if it is something that you could eat. We will go back again, our daughter who is a foodie would truly enjoy this restaurant.
