With over 200 wines in stock, Tastings boasts one of the largest selections in the world for wines-by-the-taste and the largest selection in Indianapolis for wines-by-the-glass. The entire selection is available by the 2 ounce taste, glass and by the bottle. Tastings offers a bistro & tapas style menu with a large selection of cheese and charcuterie plates, flatbread pizzas, crostinis, salads, sandwiches and desserts. “Great concept! Great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2014

This is basically a tapas and wine tasting restaurant. The food was awesome; we had the fillet skewers, crab cakes and cheese plate. All great; the fillet rosemary skewers were to die for! As for the wine tasting; you could buy a card that ran a tab and you went to wine stations that dispensed 2oz servings for the price listed above the bottle. There were at least 50 different wines that you could sample this way. We did find the table size challenging, a table for 2 was so small that you could only share 1 tapa at a time as there was no room for more than one plate, so we were served in courses. It was workable and became somewhat of a laugh trying to get everything to fit. The restaurant was also open seating. It was busy on a Sunday night but we found a table. It might have been much more challenging to find a seat on another night. Lastly, I also forgot to mention the great live music. Thanks for a nice evening, we will be back!

“City Chic, Nice Place to Taste + Enjoy and Buy Artwork!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

We stopped in during some down time, waiting for show time at the Hilbert Theater. Nice surroundings. Great place to taste a variety of wines without mortgaging the farm to do so! Great appetizers. Also, they have some wonderful "wine"-related artwork on the walls that is also available for purchase. My husband surprised me a couple of weeks later with one of them...and, long story short, we now own 2 of them. A downtown gem with nice atmosphere. Great for Date Night!

Thanks for the great review! We're so glad to hear you're getting to enjoy the artwork at home as well...hopefully with a great glass (or bottle) of wine. Cheers!

“a relaxing place”

a great place to relax outside and watch the world go by. Nice wines and great small plates. The cheese selections are exceptional and generous.

“Nice Wine Bar to chill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

It was a wonderful experience - comfortable leather chairs and couches. There was also bar seating. Stupendous wine menu. Excellent selections. Cheese/fruit platter was good.
The service was very slow. We were there to relax so it didn't really matter to us. There was only 1 person on the floor and she was chit chatting with the bartender.
Overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend it to wine afficianado's -

“Wines by the 2 ounce pour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

This is a great place to try wines that you would not necessarily order a full bottle of. Cheeses, small flatbread pizzas and appetizers that go with wines of every region and varietal are served to you while you are in comfortable couches and chairs. Excellent atmosphere good place to people watch.
