“Well kept, well organized, comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014 via mobile

Was there for 1 day only for a business meting elsewhere in town. The hotel is quiet, well run, comfortable, with a fitness center, in perfect downtown location. Breakfast is middle of the run, bar service lacking somewhat in liquor, wine selection. Prices of water, coffee, etc. a bit on the expensive side. Employees are very courteous and helpful, rooms are wide, perfectly clean, silent. Overall a sure choice.

Stayed there 2 nights, room 810. Nice place. Great location. You can walk downtown, go for a run along the river, museums are right there, catch a minor league ballgame. Friendly staff, room was spacious and clean. Underground parking is convenient except for when a baseball game is starting. Then it might take you a while to get in or out of the garage.
The only nit is that the room had a musty smell to it. You really notice it when you enter it. I did overhear some other guests mentioning it, too. Something for management to check out.

If there was only one person who was rude, I can understand. But when it is more than one, its a problem. If you want the Marriott customer service that you have become accustomed to, don't stay here. Want a Starbucks outside of the few hours the Bistro is open? A big sign says to go ask the Front Desk to make you one. But the Front Desk says the Bistro is closed, period. And that is your only choice for coffee unless you want a good twenty minute walk. And the price that is charged for this hotel and not get any customer service? Ridiculous. If I could change hotels, I would in a heartbeat. I have been a loyal Marriott customer for years. I'm going to have to reconsider my loyalty.

This would be hilarious if the room did not cost $180 a night. I arrived and threw open the curtains to see what I could see, viola! a wall and ductwork. Indianapolis is an amazing city and the room is clean and comfy, but that's it, nothing special. You could get the same thing someplace else for a much, much lower price.

Located downtown in the same complex as the Fairfield and it shares an underground parking lot with the Fairfield and the JW. They have room service and use TGI Friday's since it's located downstairs in the complex. The rooms are newly renovated, pretty clean and quiet. No complaints here.

I had a great experience at the Courtyard! I stayed for 4 nights and a late check out. I was on the 15th floor and enjoyed 2 Indianapolis Indians games, from the comfort of my room, as well as 2 concerts! The room view was amazing! I could see Lucas Oil stadium, Victory Field, and the White River State Park concert venue. I used iHeart Radio to stream the baseball broadcast... The lobby has a market place where I bought my Cracker Jacks!

There is a bistro onsite, but the bistro is not very gluten free or dairy free friendly. This is not a bad representation of this Courtyard, but this is a Marriott issue. Fortunately, there is First Watch, a few blocks away and they have the best breakfast for Gf and DF eaters!!

The room was comfortable and the bed was great! Everything looked pretty new. The staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for a hotel stay.

Great location with numerous things to do in walking distance. Lots of restaurants, museums, sports stadiums, concert venue, zoo and park. Room was to Marriott standards, very well appointed and clean. Room has thermostad control for heating and cooling. Breakfast is the Bistro variety but the service was very good and the quick start was excellent. Reasonable price for quality and serving. Expensive drinks, try TGI Friday next door for lower costs. Papers are available in the lobby and free internet.

Be aware there are four Marriott properties on the site and another one block away. So make sure you arrive at the right property!

Very friendly staff! This is one of the nicest group of people my wife and I have stayed with. Management is doing a great job.

As a Platinum Marriott member received points and a Starbucks coffee. Very nice touch!

Strongly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: North side has view of downtown, east side of stadium, south of baseball park and canal and west sid...
