“Real Italy in Indianapolis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

We were surrounded by adorable high school prom couples enjoying a really top notch dinner out. The regional Piedmont special menu was full of wonderful surprises! My 15 year old niece was treated royally and our dinners were amazing. I especially enjoyed the boar cooked in two ways, an amazing white wine that I will definitely have again, and great service. The pork ravioli was a bit undercooked but we were assured that would be adjusted for future customers! Cannot wait to go back with the outdoor dining room is open!

“Delightful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I was in Indianapolis at a conference. A co-worker and I decided to try Iozza'a and we were glad we did. it was the best dinner I/we had in Indianapolis. REAL Italian food, fabulous cocktails, exceptional service. This place has got it going on. Don't miss it.

“Excellent experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Just when we had convinced ourselves that the American rendition of Italian couldn't possibly stack up against "authentic" Italian cuisine, we've been proven wrong for a THIRD time. (Indianapolis area Lorenzo's Ristorante and Matteo's being the other exceptions) We ordered an appetizer ( the scallops with goat cheese and crustini which was delicious), and a house salad and bread accompanied the entrees making this a reasonably priced meal as long as you don't order , say the $30 Lobster Ravioli which while GOOD wasn't GREAT and in our opinion, didn't justify the price. BUT the Lasagna Bolognese was honestly some of the best Lasagna we've EVER had and we are hardly "youngsters" when I say that! Portions were large , pacing of food as it was delivered by our server was quite good. Attentive but not intrusive staff. This is a local, family owned restaurant whose recipes have been passed down over the generations. ****For those attending events at Lucas Oil stadium, this is an easy walk and is definitely worth pairing the 2 venues/activities. ****

“Grownup family favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

This is where we go to relax and have some grownup family time. Our extended family has kinda made this our downtown place. We love the food, atmosphere and it's family owned pride.

“Pretty good. Will return.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Had heard and read good things.
Great atmosphere and superb service. High variety medium size menu. Smallish dining area (15 tables?) with a food service bar in a separate area.
I had an outstanding scallop and goat cheese appetizer and above average spaghetti and meatballs (a signature dish). The Caprese Salad was a lot of food, and just okay.
Wife had a good Avocado Crostini appetizer and outstanding Whole Red Snapper off a special seafood menu.
Teenagers shared one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted as an appetizer and one had great Fettuccini Alfredo. The other reported outstanding Lamb Chops (he doesn't lie about food!).
Our friends reported about the same.
Food ranges from very good to really, really good. I found the food very good. Not especially memorable, but there is other stuff on the menu I desire to try, so I will be back. There is some emphasis on wine and cocktails. We don’t imbibe.
Found parking to be a minor hassle but manageable.
$30 - $50 pp. Fairly busy. Recommend reservations.
A good and recommended experience.
