The Indiana World War Memorial is amazing! The Shrine Room is Magnificent and the museum is wonderful, going to the Revolution to today's wars! Highly recommended!
The memorial was full of information and artifacts. I really liked how it progressed through the years of the wars. I also liked that it was so up to date.
The Indiana War Memorial is located between the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza and University Park, north of Monument Circle and northeast of the state capitol building. It is beautiful and impressive and certainly worth a stop. A great Lincoln statue and a Benjamin Harrison statue are also located in University Park. Downtown Indianapolis is very walkable. The streets have metered parking.
A true Indiana treasure. Haven't been up to the top inside since I was a little kid but I always enjoy visiting monument circle and seeing this treasure.
Love coming to this monument time and again. Have taken hundreds of photos, and enjoy seeing it at different times of year.
