“Open museum with great art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Free museum, and lovely gardens. Don't miss 100 acres when the weather is nice. Friday night movies in the summer outside are not to be missed.

“One of the better art museums in the USA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

One can easily spend an entire day museum viewing, strolling the woods and gardens, having lunch, and walking through the Lilly House. This property is a national historic landmark and the museum offers paintings by Rubens, El Greco, Van Gogh, Japanese & African art, American contemporary and furnishings. The building itself is perfect with big viewing areas, great lighting, comfortable seating, and a very good gift shop. And it's FREE!

“Great and peaceful way to spend an afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

After touring this contemporary museum head for a leisurely
walk thru the 100 acre woods. Beautiful, meditative and leaves you with a feeling of peace.

“Modern, Nice, Movies???”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

It's a beautiful museum with remarkable artwork and... Movies on the Terrace, a series of evening movie screenings the museum uses to fundraise. Seating starts well before sunset and the terrace is full of blankets full of people with candles and gourmet food with wine/beer. Very nice!

“Must Visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Parking is cheap but not free, like $5. The admission, however, is free. You could literally spend an entire day wondering around this place. The galleries are phenomenal and the museum does a great job of adding new interesting exhibits and keeping things fresh, without sacrificing the favorites some of us have come to know and love. During the warmer months, I highly recommend touring the grounds and the Lily house.
