I travel to Indianapolis several times a year on business. Downtown Indianapolis has been revitalized into a vibrant urban area. Unfortunately, most of the dining options are either the typical "theme restaurant" selling their version of full service overly processed fare (i.e. 100 variations on TGIFriday's), or over-priced pretentious options that are just too much after a day of travel. Luckily, I stumbled across TaTa a while back and now I eat here anytime I am in town. The atmosphere is great. It's very small, clean, quiet, with a relaxed vibe and reasonable prices. The food is exceptional. Normally I get the Pernil Guantanamero, but have also ordered the sandwich. Anything I have ever eaten here was fantastic. Skip the Applebee's chicken fingers until your next trip to the suburbs and try TaTa when in Indianpolis.
