I live 60 miles from Fort Wayne, and traditionally take my daughter twice a year to eat dinner at House of Hunan followed by a visit to DeBrands' Chocolates next door. I have always found the food at House of Hunan to be top quality and very delicious. I usually have the Empress Chicken with rice, Crab Rangoon and Hot & Sour soup. My daughter usually has the Beef & Chinese vegetables.

As for the service, I have always found their waitresses to be very polite. One unique aspect of the service is that, after they bring your food, they are very unabtrusive. Instead of coming by your table every 5 minutes to ask if you need something, they seem to always know exactly when to refill your beverage or tea, do so, then leave you alone.

I have recommended the House of Hunan to every friend or relative that favors good chinese food.
