“Eat Here Every Time We are In Fort Wayne”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Not the fanciest restaurant, but the fish is delicious. Lightly breaded and never greasy. You can order dinners by the piece or an all you can eat option is available. Meals come with complimentary slaw (creamy or sweet & sour). The sweet and sour is awesome and brought back childhood memories as "vinegar" slaw was always what was fixed at my house. You also get two additional sides. Have had a baked potatoe, baked sweet potatoe and the green beans and all have been really yummy. The green beans are whole and have been steamed I think, but are very flavorful and tender crisp, just perfect. If you love fish don't hesitate to check this place out and ladies, make sure to check out the ladies room to see all the cool all swim suits on display from maybe the 50's. They look like the ones I have seen in Beach Party movies with Annette and Frankie.

“Great fish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

My wife and I had lunch here. Fish of Stroh (or Gropp's Famous Fish of Stroh) used to have many restaurants in the Fort Wayne area, but they are dwindling. This location looked brand new even though it is six-years old. We ordered the luncheon fish dinner for two ($12.99), which consisted of four pieces of their original famous fish, a good size portion of cole slaw, and a basket of fried chips. It was all very good except my wife thought the chips were a bit greasy. The original is lightly breaded and fried, and doesn't taste "fishy" at all. Our server was very nice and efficient. This restaurant is definitely on our radar to visit when we are in Fort Wayne.
