Our group stayed at this hotel recently for a 2 day/1 night sporting event in the Carmel area. The hotel manager, Laura, was extremely helpful during the reservation process: returned my call promptly, assessed our group needs, provided us all with first floor rooms, was open to working out a nice group rate, and even held us an extra accessible room type for one of our families to determine if they needed it upon check in. The above and beyond: unprompted she inquired whether we wanted a meeting space for a group dinner, and even provided us with a contact list for local restaurants to determine healthy eating options.
Tiffany, who assisted us with check in, was also a pleasure to work with. She had our group rooming list and CC copy awaiting signature ready for us at check in, kept track of our families as they checked in, assured us that we could use the common area for dinner, and helped us get an early start to breakfast during our stay. Continental breakfast options include, by the way: Bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, donuts, muffins, waffles, fruit, coffee, tea, toast, juice milk, hardboiled eggs (fridge), cereal, yogurt, and possibly more things I may not have eyed.
The hotel accommodations were very nice as well. Spacious commons and foyer (two computers, printer, couches, armchairs, lamps, TV, wooden tables, and wooden padded chairs), a very well set up "Baymont Breakfast Corner" alcove with two waffle makers (great for those with less patience), well equipped fitness center, and cozy, clean double bed rooms with armchairs. Some of the rooms were in fine working order, mine included. My across-the-hall neighbors however had a room that could benefit from a once over so that their heat/AC unit could get a tweak/repair. However, there wasn't anything above minor to impact the pleasantness of our stay. Bathrooms were spacious, wheelchair accessible, the sink was enclosed in the bathroom, shower quality was great (water pressure, temperature). Minor smoke smell lingers in parts of certain hallways, but nothing overwhelming. No actual smoke smell in my or any other NS room.
Bottom line: comfy rooms for an overnight stay, accommodating to groups, great customer service, excellent value! Would definitely stay again, would recommend to others.
