“Clean room, Friendly Staff & The Breakfast was Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The rooms were very clean. The Staff was very helpful and frienly and the breakfast was as good as the breakfast at "The Embassy Suites." The cook Jeremy knows exactly what he's doing in the kitchen...the food was delicious. Also the waitress Norma was very nice and extremely helpful. When we come back to Evansville...this will be our hotel pick.

I've stayed here several weeks this year on business. The staff is nice and greets me by name. It is a quiet hotel with nice ammenities. The work out center is especially nice. The maids seem to do a bang up job on clenaing the rooms. It is close to a lot of nice restaurants.

Room Tip: I've enjoyed all the rooms

I gave service a 4 only because night clerk could have been friendlier. The other clerks were nice and the housekeeping was very friendly. Nice clean rooms. The price was very reasonable:) nearby restaraunts were a plus also!

My elderly mother stayed at the Evansville Hilton Garden Inn for 10 days over the Christmas holiday. It was hands-down the best place. One of the few hotels that has hot food service for breakfast and lunch. AND a bar. During the time of her stay, Evansville was hit with 8 inches of snow. We were unable to get to her, but I felt very good that she was safe, had access to hot food, heat and electricity and the staff went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. The hotel is located near a number of chain restaurants, but it was a distinct advantage that she didn't have to leave the hotel for meals. Definite 10.

Our son is a junior now at the University of Evansville. Due to the nature of his major, we come to town at least 4 or 5 times a year and always stay overnight. We have stayed at most of the hotels in the area and we have found that we enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn the most. The beds make the sleeping experience the best we've found in town. We have finally made the decision that this is the only hotel we will stay at. The rooms are very spacious and it seems that the hotel has always been non-smoking which is a pleasure. There are mini-fridges and microwaves in the rooms also. There is an on-site restaurant and lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The staff is friendly and the common areas are well maintained. They need to improve the speed and consistency of the free Wi-Fi. Breakfast isn't complimentary, but with the mini-fridge in the room, you can always grab something at the store and keep it in your room.

this hotel is located just off 164 at theLloyd expressway. The stakk is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is well done with a buffet and order from the menu. . The hotel has a dining room, open for breakfast and dinner. The dinner selection is somewhat limited but adequate, with pricing that is typical($10.00 hamburger.) There are a number of other places to eat nearby. The hotel is well kept . They do have a bit of a problem keeping hot coffee available all day.

Pricing is in line for the area, in the $100.00 range depending on the package you pick. For the price, I prefer this hotel over the nearby hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn.

Room Tip: Try for a room overlooking the lake(actually a large pond)

This is our second stay at this property - It's very comparable to most other Garden Inn's I've stayed. Nothing really negative to say. The GI's are very consistent. The lobby was decorated nicely for Christmas. The only negative that I encountered was the in-room free Wi-Fi was very inconsistent. Also, the GI pools tend to be "very" small.

Overally, a very nice hotel - the nicest I've found in Evansville. You can't really go wrong with this hotel.
