“Always a great value for the money!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

I have stayed here four times before when traveling in the area. Rooms are clean, several restaurants to choose from, ate here once ,because I was with wife who was to tired to travel to dinner. Paula Deans Restaurant is always busy! Never knew they had a pool here until this trip so went to check it out. The pool was packed, never have seen kids here before either. To be honest I don't stay here for the Casino, I stay because the staff is always friendly and helpful, never had a bad room, always clean and it is a short drive from The Brown Hotel where I always go to have dinner except that one time. A VERY GOOD VALUE for me.

If I owned or managed the place I would hire a crew of full time furniture finishers to go room to room and touch up all the wood furniture. Edges are worn , scratched, damaged, and could all be repaired or touched up to make the wood in the rooms look like new. Would be a never ending job for someone or a crew for sure. Worked in the furniture industry for 30 years and these are simple things to take care of which would keep the rooms looking fresh. If you need help hiring the right people I would be happy to come and interview the candidates. Give me a room and $1000 credit for the casino. I'm pretty sure you would see all that money back.

Good stay, accommodations good as usual for a Horseshoe property, every thing you need from shopping to good food and gambling. Paula Deen's restaurant served a wide varity of southern classics.Good size rooms and comfortable beds made the stay very good.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the golf course, good views

We have stayed here on comps, but would not "pay" to stay here. No free wifi, no free breakfeast, $4 bottle water, ice machines always broken or out of ice. In room coffee is nasty, so bring your own or pay $3.00 for a cup in their cafe. Rooms are average hotel rooms. The staff is friendly and the Hotel is clean. Not worth $100 plus per night. Other than the pool there is Nothing for kids to do. Would rather stay at another hotel just 10 mintues away who offer free wifi and breakfeast, for half the price per night.

Very convienent hotel for going to shows and the casino.Nice and clean, comfy beds, video check out was nice. Would have like to have a microwave in the room and a comfy chair other than the desk chair.Prices not bad at all.Did not like the shower head ,very strong felt like needles. My daughter had a sunburn and it was difficult showering for her. All in all, pretty nice.

Quality all around. The staff is personable, responsive and makes the effort to ensure a comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious and furnishings are on par with major hotel chains in major cities. Beds are quite comfy and rooms have a safe and refrigerator. Cleanliness is a high priority for me and this property delivers.

Room Tip: I prefer view of walking path and high floor.

this is the closest thing you're going to get to Vegas in the ohio valley. the prices are good, there's a lot to see and do, and everything is all in one spot so it's very convenient. it's a fun time if you like gambling, seeing people having a good time, enjoy good food & drinks.

I had a nice stay at this property until I got home and noticed they ran my credit card twice. When I discovered the error I called the front desk. After speaking with 5 different people they ultimately would correct the mistake. I would not stay here or any of their affiliated properties again.
