“They make you feel like family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2011

What a wonderful place to stay. Linda--the General Manager--and Dorothy--the "Queen of Breakfast"--make you feel right at home. Super clean rooms, excellent staff and a really nice place for family OR for business travelers to stay while on the road. You will NOT be dissappointed!

I stayed here for Business many time over the past 3 years. It is a great place to stop if you are traveling to Louisville or Evansville and don't want to pay city prices. It is an hour east of Evansville, so with the time change you end up getting to Evansville at the time you leave Corydon.

The cleanliness of this hotel isn't the best, but it certainly is the best in Corydon. I stayed here probably over 30 times and never once had anyone be rude to me nor have I ever had trouble getting help when I needed it.

Pretty good bang for the buck at under $100 a night, just don't expect anything fancy!

We stayed one night at this Hampton Inn in Corydon IN. The price was fair but I expected it to be a little nicer. We had plumbing problems not even 5 minutes after being in our room, and the maintenance person cleaned it up so fast that I don't think they did a thorough job cleaning. Beds were okay. Hide-a-bed was awful. Free breakfast pretty good. Check in went well. Checkout easy.

My family and I took a trip to Holiday World and stayed at the Hampton Inn. AMAZING!!! Greaaaat hotel, beautiful dining room, *WONDERFUL EMPLOYEE* who was serving the breakfast! She kept everything well stocked and clean! I wanted to tip her but my parents said that would be silly. I just went up to her and complimented her! ; ) I loved everything about the hotel, very clean, price was great, breakfast was yummy and service was wonderful! The only complaint was I needed more bathroom essentials for a family of four... soap, shampoo, conditioner and of course towels! My family and I stayed there to visit Holiday World (a bit of a drive though -50 minutes but WORTH every minute)

Stayed here with two rooms for one night. Good standard Hampton Inn, clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms. Staff very helpful. Hotel is close to I-64 and the rooms (as someone pointed out) on one side are more prone ot road noise which could be a problem. Choice of eating is not great though not a great problem for a one night stay

The staff at the Corydon Hampton Inn bend over backward to ensure that we have all the comforts of home. They have bag breakfast available for us knowing we won't have a chance for their excellent sit down breakfast. Check in is fast and friendly, facilities are clean and fully functional. They put out welcome treats, have towels ready for the bikes and it is such a welcoming place. Thank you!

We stayed 2 nights here on a trip to Holiday World and Marengo Caves. Hampton is our preferred hotel chain and this hotel lived up to our expectations. Our room and the rest of the hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly.

Room: We rented a "king suite". I called ahead so I knew that this wasn't two conpletely separate rooms. You enter into the bedroom side, where there is a king sized bed, television and a comfortable chair. The living room side is to the right, through a large opening. The living room has a pull out couch with a television, sink, frig and microwave. The air conditioning was the usual noisy unit in the wall controlled by a separate thermostat. The bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom - There was a single sink with a nice shelf underneath. The shower was nice but it had the short shower curtain. I assume they use these because the bottom doesn't lay in water and get moldy, but it would be nice if the curtain was just a couple inches longer. There were plenty of towels and everything was very clean.

Breakfast - We always enjoy the complimentary breakfast but the selection here was a little less than others we have stayed at. The attendant was very helpful and seemed to be keeping busy but there was always something (waffle batter, eggs, milk, etc) that had run out. There were no pastries or donuts - just english muffins, bagels and bread. There were a few chocolate muffins too. She said she was out of everything else both days we were there. Other offerings were cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs and one or two hot dishes (biscuits and gravy and potatos one day and scrambled eggs the other).

Location - Very convenient. The hotel is right off of I-64. There were several restaurants you could walk to and many more a short drive away. There is also a Walmart across the street and a movie theater down a short ways. There is a "family fun center" that had miniature golf and what sounded like go-carts right there also.

Overall, the hotel was very nice and we would return if we were in the area. Holiday World is less than an hour west and the Marengo Caves are less than a half hour away.
