The Dock has two other locations in other area cities and they are somewhat of an institution. This isn't really the kind of place you go for a fine seafood meal or anything like that. The set up is incredibly simple. You walk in and place your order at the counter, the cook starts throwing stuff in the fryer, you wait for your number to be called, get your food, and go find a table or carryout. There's nothing fancy about it. You won't find any salads or seafood dishes or anything like that, just lots and lots of fried food- hand breaded fish, clams, mushrooms, cheese sticks, hush puppies, crinkle cut fries, real onion rings, etc. It's all fried to a perfect crispness. The fish is what they are known for, and it's a very clean white fish with a crumb breading. The fish sandwiches are served up with a few slices of bread to make your own sandwich. You can get condiments and cole slaw too. The food is very basic and the service is fast! It's not a sit down dining experience, it's fast food, and the quality and quanity surpasses national fast food chains.
