Location was a bit out of the way for me, would have stay closer to where i had to be. DFAS Building at 8899 E 56th Street. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurtant was pleasnat but for the price a complimentary breakkfast would have been nice instead of 1 coupon for 10% off 1 meal. Also if the restaurtant could have open earlier in the morning.

Thank you for your review. We take all comments from our guests seriously. Our restaurant opens at 6:30 during the week and 7 on weekends. Our staff will always try to accommodate any early risers if at all possible. Don't hesitate to ask. We enjoy surprising and delighting our guests with helpful, friendly service. We stayed here as part of a wedding in early December. Most of the out of towners did. Nice hotel. This brand is very predictable with its quality. No hidden surprises. Good value. This part of the city is a good 30 minutes from the airport, so you don't stay here for convenience related to air travel.

Room Tip: Stay on the East Side of the building. The West Side facings US 31. And I noticed that the windows...

Thank you for your review. Our guests comments are very important to us. And we appreciate your reveiw. As you said, we are not convenient to the Indianapolis airport, but we are to several other Indianapolis sites such as the Children's Museum and the Carmel Arts and Design District. From our locatlon, it is easy to get downtown via US 31/Meridian St. And we are just 3 miles north of 465. Hope you had a good time at the wedding and if you are ever in the Indy/Carmel area again, that you will stay with us. We appreciate your business.

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn was one of the nicest chain hotel staff we have experienced. They were very helpful with directions to our different locations. If it wasn't for the staff the rating would have been lower.
It would have received another lower rating if it wasn't for the price we got it for. The room was very clean. But the down sides were our room was on the side of the highway and we heard the trucks and cars drive by all night. As for the beds I really didn't care for the sleep number. Then we had our heater. It would go on and whistle and bang loudly until it shut off. I woke up at 1:45 and couldn't not go back to sleep because of the heater whistling and the trucks on the highway. We may have had a better stay if we stayed on the parking lot side and our heater didn't whistle and bang.
I so would have choosen Average for the rating if it wasn't for the staff. I would highly recommend staying on the parking lot side.

Room Tip: Put a room on the parking lot side.

Thank you for the nice compliments about our staff. I am sorry that the traffic noise caused you to lose sleep. We always want our guests to get a great night's sleep. In the future, if you let us know in advance, we will make every effort to assign you a room on the parking lot side of the hotel. Also, never hesitate to bring a problem like the heater to our attention. We would have gladly moved you to another room. Please be assured that this is not typical of our hotel. I hope that you will stay with us in the future. We value your business!

Wife and I had an anniversery dinner planned and decided to try this faciity.
Turned out to be great choice.
Staff was friendly, room was good and location perfect for those wanting to visit Clay Terrace.

Other than some remodeling going on, I would recommend this hotel for stay. I was there on business and it was quite nice. Would also recommend this stay for personal as well. Clean, rooms were comfy, beds too.

Nice Hotel. Fairly expensive, but so is every other decent hotel in the area. Breakfast is not included and is fairly expensive if you get the buffett. I'm not a big fan of sleep-number beds. They don't seem to do what they are supposed to do. There is a small indoor pool and a fairly large hot tub at about the correct temperature. There are a number of restuarants close,-by and a number of others a couple of miles away.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. I hope we can win you over to our Garden Sleep System beds which allow guests to set their own comfort level. We want you to get a good night's sleep. Setting the comfort level of the bed to mimic yours at home will hopefully help you sleep well. We also try to make our breakfast a good value. Our entire cold and hot buffet, including made to order omelets, pancakes, waffles, and french toast by our chef is available for one all-inclusive price. This also includes ALL beverages, such as coffee, tea, milk, and assorted juices. I think it would be difficult to find the same value at a full-blown restaurant. A la carte items are available also for guests who are not interested in a full breakfast. Thank you for choosing Hilton Garden Inn. We hope to see you again!

Our group of ten families stayed here for a reunion in June, and the room, pool, and staff all around were really top-notch. We booked the rooms in advance and were given a very good group rate also. The restaurant was understaffed, however, which made an evening pizza dinner for our group turn into a 2-1/2 hour meal. We would most definitely stay here if we travel to the area again.
