This is the second time I"ve had the pleasure of staying at the Brookville Inn. My mother and I take a trip down to historic Metamora, Indiana and the Brookville Inn is about a 10 minute drive away. This place is fantastic! The owners are super. They cater to your every desire. I can't think of a single thing they don't provide for from snacks, beverages, DVD library for your DVD player in your room, gorgeously decorated rooms, and wonderful breakfasts. I highly recommend reserving a meal at the Rileybrook Hall while you are down in Brookville, which the owners will be happy to help you with! Just a great place, especially at Christmas time!

Because I live in the 4th largest city in the US, the Brookville Inn was exactly what I needed to soothe my soul! It is a beautiful, newly renovated B&B in the picturesque and quaint midwestern town of Brookville, Indiana. My room was beautifully decorated with my own large, private bath. There was a beautiful parlor for visiting with other guests or people in your party as well as a lovely outdoor porch. The Indiana summer weather made the porch very inviting! Keith and Taya, the owners, provided a wonderful breakfast every morning with something new and delicious every day. Keith made an egg casserole that was out of this world! I had to get the recipe it was so good. Coming from such a large city, I was so suprised at what all the lovely town of Brookville (population 2000) had to offer....a beautiful lake, restaurants, a park within walking distance and there was even a movie theater and bowling if you so desired. The location of the town is only a short drive away from some larger midwest cities, but I was there for the rest and relaxation and preferred to stay close to "home", which is how I felt staying in the Brookville Inn. I can't wait to go back again.

Living in Washington, DC and traveling extensively throughout Western Europe, we often seek out B&Bs and Agriturismos because we like to get an intimiate feel for the community and the surrounding locale. Well, I can tell you that The Brookville Inn could be transplanted ANYWHERE in the world and it would be an exquisite place to stay. The Innkeepers have created an elegant, old-world retreat in the midst of a small Indiana town...but you could just as easily imagine the Inn in San Francisco or the Tuscan valley. Simply delightful! We highly recommend it!

The Brookville Inn is a perfect blend.

The Inn itself blends the charm of century-old architecture with modern amenities providing four star luxury.

The local roots of the Innkeepers blended with their prior successful business careers and international travel are reflected in a sophisticated--yet down home--hospitality that provides a unique get-away experience.

The Brookville Inn is now on our list of favorite places to stop along-the-way!
