For people who like to go out to eat, this place is fantastic! We prefer to go during the week in the evenings when it isn't as busy as Fri-Sat are. We always start off with some appetizers...artichoke dip & chips, bushman (mu)shrooms are our faves. I always get the salmon for my main course along with a house salad & broccoli. My husband can't decide if he wants the prime rib or a full rack of barbecue ribs. He'll get a salad & sometimes either a baked potato or broccoli. It all begins with some of their wonderful warm loaves of dark bread. And if we still have room after all this we share a dessert. He likes brownies/ice cream & i like cheesecake. We can't go wrong either way. I don't like 'frilly' restaurants where they bring me a plate that looks empty with a speck of food on it, from a chef who cares more about his name & reviews than if the food tastes great. If you are a no-nonsense foodie like me, who hates to wait 2 hours to eat, then head over to Outback on a weeknite (Mon-Thur) and enjoy some of the best food & service in Bloomington, IN.
