I sponsored my husband a wolf, Wotan, for Valentine's Day. We live in NC and flew into Chicago and spent a few days sight seeing, then drove to Wolf Park for his sponsor visit. If you sponsor a wolf, you get to actually go in the enclosure and interact with them. After a safety video my husband was allowed in the enclosure. Unfortunately, the wolf he sponsored - Wotan had no desire to come out. However, the three yearlings came bounding up and he was able to interact with all three. It was amazing. If you sponsor a wolf and plan to visit you MUST pay the $50 for Monty to come in and take photos. Within 3 days we received the CD of over 300 shots in the mail. They are excellent pictures.
We came back for howl night and listened to a great presentation and literally got to howl with the wolves.
For the previous reviewers that were not impressed... be aware that the wolves are not always active, this is a large place and you may not always see them. The bison have acres to roam and they are not always visible.
But hey - the admission price is very low.
The most bang for your buck is no doubt sponsorship!!
