Stayed five nights at the hotel. Had a non-smoking room but could smell smoke. There was no iron in the room. The breakfast was a rip off...buffet for $9.95. I don't eat $10.00 worth of breakfast. The shuttle driver was helpful, but there were no shuttles on Saturday. The conference we were attending ran on Saturday, so we had no transportation to it. Too far from any decent eating establishments, unless you had a car or took a cab. The food there was ok, but little variety.
When we made our reservations the hotel was a Whydham, by the time we arrived it was a Doubletree. There were others in our group who had problems with reservations and the front desk put them in very questionable hotels. The transition to Doubletree had not gone smoothly and as a result, the experience left a lot to be desired.
Depending on the shift, front desk staff could be helpful or not.
