“Excellent Meal ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

We popped in for dinner at Sandals as we were looking to get off the strip and what a gem, service second too none and the food brilliant, a must try!!!

Only negative is a person started smoking behind us while we were eating, yep you have to protect your core market the Russians but in the modern world this is not ideal and I hope management change this, create a smoking area during dinner time.

If you want a resort that has boutique charm and is not like an oversized resort with masses of people, Mia Resort is perfect for you.

Upon arrival we're were given complimentary tea and a passion fruit sorbet, our walk to the roo through a tropical garden with fruit trees and fountains was magical until I saw the rooms.

Our bedroom is a comfortable size with high exposed bananas leaf thatched ceiling ( water tight) with a romantic mosquito netting draped over the queen sized bed.

The ensuite attached has an outdoor section which is undercover, amazing soaps an lotions which are locally made and smell heavenly of lemongrass and other exotic scents which suited the room. Service in clearing the rooms was impeccable, definitely opt for the turn down service ( complimentary) each evening for a romantic setting each night.

Access to the private beach is quite close, best to swim in the morning before the wind( and floating rubbish) pick up later in the day.

The staff here are friendly and accommodating and the food excellent. Stay here and you won't be sorry!

We stayed 5 nights in a beautiful bungalow with garden views and glimpses of the ocean. Beautiful quiet location on the beach also with a great pool. Fantastic staff and service. Breakfast was great and their restaurant ' Sandals' was one of the best places to eat in Mui Ne also with a lovely view overlooking the sea.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a lovely outlook view of the gardens. The bungalows and more expensive but worth...

My wife and i have been staying here now for 6 yrs in a row and cannot wait to go back again next yr. This time we stayed 15 nights and loved every minute of it, the staff are the most friendliest we have ever encountered travelling through Vietnam over 7yrs, and as they say" the proof is in the pudding" which means the bulk of the staff have been there since we started staying @ Mia. Many thanks to them and Lionel the manager who caters for all your needs, and it is great to stay somewhere in Vietnam where there is a good cross section of Europeans. Meals are superb and you really get what you pay for.
Congratulations to the owners of this resort you have staff to be very proud of, they do the resort and yourselves justice.
See you next yr guys
Geoff and Jenny

Room Tip: We always book room 25 it has its own sun lounge and balcony

We visited Mia for 11 nights and loved every minute of it. We chose Mui Ne for the kite surfing, and the access to the kite rental shop (and their fantastic service!) made for a great vacation. I rented equipment and the gear was ready to go when ever I wanted- like a kite chauffeur!

The accommodation was lovely; has a very beachy feel. The small size of the resort makes for a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was our favourite of all the places we stayed in Vietnam. Lovely beach that is kept very clean, with plenty of sun loungers around the pool and on the beach. Staff were very attentive.

Pros: breakfast, property/grounds, beach access, service, kite school/service
Cons: you get what you pay for (it's pricier, but the service and accommodation live up to it), drinks and food on the resort are also pricey- but there are plenty of great restaurants on the strip who will serve up a great meal for much less (i.e. Sunny's)

Room Tip: We stayed in garden view villa 42- close to the pool and beach (but with privacy from the shrubs out...

We only stayed 2 nights but wish we had more time. Beautiful resort with lovely staff amongst a magic setting. The breakfasts were delicious, as was the meals at the restaurant. Look forward to coming back and spending more time soon

Spend two nights in this resort together with three friends, during our travel through south Vietnam. The only regret we have is not being able to spend more nights here.
From the moment you are welcomed by the reception until the moment you leave you feel like everything is being take care of for you.
It may be due to the timing of our stay, but there was a lot of staff available in the resort, especially in the restaurant. They were idle most of the time and therefore very eager to serve you and make sure you were not coming up short, but not in an annoying/bothering kind of way. Although it is certainly not one of the larger resorts in the area, in my opinion this contributes to the very attentive employees.
Wifi works throughout the resort, without any hassle of passwords or login scripts.
This resort truly gives you your money's worth, even in the cheap Vietnam.
Only thing that could be improved is the lighting in the rooms, due to which the rooms were often somewhat dark and you could not really see how the sun had affected your body. This is the only point of critique I could find.
