“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

We recently spent 5 nights (15 - 20 August) at this boutique hotel, funnily enough at the same time as Kroulak who reviewed below, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very new and the facilities and hotel surroundings are out of this world!

Our room was a ground floor room with a beach view. The room was very large, had a really comfortable bed (which the hotel had imported), large modern bathroom, a seating area with a sofa and table, min bar, safe, free WI-FI and was the perfect place to relax. Our room had a large outside area which contained outside 'sofa style' furniture in the shade which was great to relax in when sitting under the sun at the pool got too much! Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Additionally, afternoon tea and Vietnamese cakes were served every day at 3pm in the restaurant area. The views, from the infinity pool and bar area, out to sea where wonderful. As for the pool area, you'll see from other pictures from reviewers how great it is. We didn't have our evening meals at the hotel and this is no slight on them, they looked nice, we just preferred to eat locally and found the food pretty cheap and to a great standard.

We'd highly recommend this hotel to others. The price was very good, staff attentive and very friendly and the setting was perfect. The hotel would certainly suit those who wanted a relaxing break away from the trapping and noise which a larger hotel and other cities would bring and would certainly suit honeymooners.

Our only minor gripe with this hotel is that our stay spanned the weekend and a large group of people from outside of Mui Ne arrived for what we suspect was a weekend break. This large group certainly didn’t show any respect to the staff or other guests - they took over breakfast in the restaurant, left rubbish around the pool, took over the pool and sun loungers (they'd installed a sign setting out the rules of the pool when we were there but these guests made a mockery of this), let their children run wild and the peace and tranquillity which we and others had enjoyed was completely shattered. Come Sunday afternoon, it was back to normal again but the hotel need to get a handle on this and ensure that this doesn't become a major issue every weekend.

One more thing to look out for is the nearest cash machine to the hotel (its across the road from the hotel) we took some cash and a cash receipt from the machine but couldn't get our card back. We've now learnt (and haven't come across this before) that there's a button on the touch screen of the unit which you'll need to press to get your card released as the machine doesn't automatically release your card once you've finished. The hotel staff were great in helping us contact the bank but ultimately we had to cancel the card!

We choose Villa Aria from another 3 accommodation in Mui Ne and over many experiences over the world we really high recommend Villa Aria!
From first contact via email all was really perfect and very quickly, for any our question we recieved very quickly answer with information what we want/need.
We arrived in 2:30 AM very tired after long fly Prague-Dubai-HCMC and 4,5 car transport, our room was ready, staff very helpful and ready help us with our children.
Breakfast is serve from 7:00 to 9:30 and it very similar every day, dont problem for us, because soup is different day by day and its not about Europe/continental breakfast, you are in Asia. A lot of fresh fruits every day and what is absolutelly the best ih their home made yoghurt, jummy! Our children love it from first to last day there. You can enjoy really incredible view to sea with many small fisching boats.
Over day the staff in restaurant is ready with nice choose of drinks/coctails in swimming pool area and main meals over lunch. The prices are very nice, not overpriced like in many hotels.
Swimming pool was clean, only one time after big storm was a small problem with water, but over one day was all perfect again. Staff control water qualitty some times every day. Beach area is small, but the best from all hotels in Mui Ne we think. We visited some other beaches in Mui Ne hotels/resort but Villa Aria is the best.
We need a doctor for our 5 year old son (problem with ear) and they help us a very quickly. The doctor Dong emergency clinic in Mui Ne is very proffesional and clean, perfect service. The same with flower service over reception was quickly and sharp!
Staff a reception deck is very helpful with all information/tips for trips, interesting places around, local rules and tips how enjoy your holiday. Taxi cars are really cheap, but if you try local small bus its perfect, youm ust have ready money because bus staff dont speak English strictly :-)
We arrange a transport from HCMC via Villa Aria and it was only one poor point in whole our holiday. Transport agency bring a to small car for 2 adults and 2 children+baggage and we travel over 4,5 hrs with one suitcase on lap, the transport agency owner come later in our holiday in Mui Ne and bring the flowers and present and he so really sorry for troubles, OK we accept this behaviour.
When we have any problem or question the Villa Aria management was ready with everything very quickly. My wife forgot the shoes on the beach over night and staff take it and keep to next day on safety place.
The big suprise for us was a final payment, all was perfect ready and we dont pay for extra bed in first night, because they forgot ready for us. We dont say anything and wait to last day for payment and this point is very important for us, its really proffesional, not like many hotels in Asia :-) Everybody smile everytime, ist really perfect place for holiday!

Room Tip: Sea view deluxe room! Near to pool:-)

My family and I had a the pleasure of staying at Villa Aria Resort during our recent vacation in Mui Ne, Viet Nam.  The stay at Villa Aria was the highlight of our trip.  The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with many modern amenities.  The staff was friendly and always helpful.  Villa Aria offers local dishes, based on seasonal and natural ingredients, which are both authentic and delicious. My kids particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast that offers everything from cereals and pastries to local Vietnamese dishes. They also enjoyed all-day swim in the sparkling pool which is only steps away from the ocean, separated by a strip of beautiful white sand beach. The grounds are well-maintained with lush flowering plants and mature trees.

I have stayed at many other resorts in Asia and would consider Villa Aria to be among the best. I will definitely stay at Villa Aria again and would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is considering visiting Mui Ne.

I stayed at Sunrise hotel, very good hotel. But for 20 dollar more. around 90 dollars off season. I will stay here next time. The beach front is cleaner and better and the small resort looks really upscale.

Have to admit the best place i have visited ! Gorgeous and awesome place ! Everyone was super helpful and friendly including their Janitor. Even their security was quite helpful as well. The room was clean, comfortable beds to sleeep with and great cable channels to watch tv in your villa. Its a surprise to woke up to a beautiful scenery of the beach once you step out of your villa for breakfast. As we arrive quite late at night we could not see a thing. Enjoy every moment when are at this villa. There also a so called tour booth or a bus back to Ho Chi Min opp the villa so its freaking convenient. Love it ! Would definitely come back ! Keep it up ! :DD

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Aria Mui Ne resort. Compared to many other resorts along the Mui Ne strip (Nguyen Dinh Chieu), Villa Aria is rather small, goodlooking and modern. Everything is brand new and the decoration is beautiful. The rooms are well equipped (HBO moviechannel!) and spotless. The staff is helpful (although some of them need some additional English lessons) and the food at the beachside restaurant is excellent. We were lucky on the weather, so we really enjoyed the pool, sunbeds and the beach. It seems that this resort is not yet discovered by many non-Asian tourists, as it was really quiet at the pool/beach during our stay. This will probably change soon though, since the resort is simply very good! Let's just hope it can maintain its paradise character by keeping out those annoying 6AM-towel-sunbed-reservation-tourists :)

Havn't stayed at Villa Aria but on my visit last week I had a look and it looks ideal for someone looking for a 5 star Beachfront Resort. Perhaps an ideal honeymoon destination. The beach position is very good being away from the erosion zones. It is luxurious, good Euro architecture and spacious with very nicely treated landscapes. I felt the menu was a little on the high side but being western aimed it will find acceptance.Room cost starts at $110 off season and the rooms are tastefully decorated.
This is a place that will fit easily in the 5 star category having style, position, privacy and calm sense to it.
