We recently spent 5 nights (15 - 20 August) at this boutique hotel, funnily enough at the same time as Kroulak who reviewed below, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very new and the facilities and hotel surroundings are out of this world!
Our room was a ground floor room with a beach view. The room was very large, had a really comfortable bed (which the hotel had imported), large modern bathroom, a seating area with a sofa and table, min bar, safe, free WI-FI and was the perfect place to relax. Our room had a large outside area which contained outside 'sofa style' furniture in the shade which was great to relax in when sitting under the sun at the pool got too much! Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Additionally, afternoon tea and Vietnamese cakes were served every day at 3pm in the restaurant area. The views, from the infinity pool and bar area, out to sea where wonderful. As for the pool area, you'll see from other pictures from reviewers how great it is. We didn't have our evening meals at the hotel and this is no slight on them, they looked nice, we just preferred to eat locally and found the food pretty cheap and to a great standard.
We'd highly recommend this hotel to others. The price was very good, staff attentive and very friendly and the setting was perfect. The hotel would certainly suit those who wanted a relaxing break away from the trapping and noise which a larger hotel and other cities would bring and would certainly suit honeymooners.
Our only minor gripe with this hotel is that our stay spanned the weekend and a large group of people from outside of Mui Ne arrived for what we suspect was a weekend break. This large group certainly didn’t show any respect to the staff or other guests - they took over breakfast in the restaurant, left rubbish around the pool, took over the pool and sun loungers (they'd installed a sign setting out the rules of the pool when we were there but these guests made a mockery of this), let their children run wild and the peace and tranquillity which we and others had enjoyed was completely shattered. Come Sunday afternoon, it was back to normal again but the hotel need to get a handle on this and ensure that this doesn't become a major issue every weekend.
One more thing to look out for is the nearest cash machine to the hotel (its across the road from the hotel) we took some cash and a cash receipt from the machine but couldn't get our card back. We've now learnt (and haven't come across this before) that there's a button on the touch screen of the unit which you'll need to press to get your card released as the machine doesn't automatically release your card once you've finished. The hotel staff were great in helping us contact the bank but ultimately we had to cancel the card!
