“great place to eat and drink..going back for sure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2010

After reading Bs1211 i wasnt sure i would go but gave it a chance since that was the only review BS gave...after a great night with my date at Vincitori's., i believe Bs is probably an owner of a local restaurant that went out of business because of vincitoris or is on the way out themselves. Do yourself a favor and vistit this great find in the burbs..

“Going down hill...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2010

Very disappointed. Children meals for plain noodles were charged at $6.00 each. Chocolate mike cost $3.00 a glass. A kids meal that cost over $9.00 x 2 kids that didn;t drink all of the milk or eat all of the plan noodles. What a joke. Then the waiter said that i didn't meet the minimum because my coke did not apply towards the minimum amount. Then between the original bill and the adjusted giftcertificate.com bill, additional food was charged to the receipt.

Prices were high compared to the amount of food, location and quality of food.

Based on the number of customers, the prices are going up to stay afloat. A restaurant on it's way out and overcharging it's customers before it goes out of business. Use your gift certificates soon before they close up shop.

“Not all that. Loud music, slow, mediocre food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2008

Sorry to say, this place did not deliver. Very helpful waitress, very good food selection, but then the food itself took the longest time to arrive, was cold, and was fairly average. Better than your local fastfood chain, but then, we spent $100 for a family of 4 (and didn't order any alcohol and only 2 main dishes.) It took the l o n g e s t time to get our drinks and refills.

The filet was cooked correctly but was lukewarm, the tomato sauces on the noodles were runny like V8 juice (but admitadly were very tasty.)

The music was recorded, but with a live singer, and was VERY loud. Several people asked to turn down down the music while we were there.

If we lived right in the area we might be inclided to try again, but otherwise nothing special.

“Wonderful Spot in the Suburbs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2008

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is fantastic and it has all of the ambiance and pizazz of a trendy downtown Chicago place but in an easy-to-get to suburban location. (A nice change from all of the "chain" restaurants that are so prevalent in the 'burbs.)

It's just steps north of the Westmont Train station along the Burlington Northern Metra line - so very easy to get to from anywhere along the train line or downtown.

We even hosted my husband's law school graduation party here. Our guests all raved about the food. We've had several friends and family members come to visit us and request going there for dinner because they enjoyed it so much.
