The service is what really makes this place. The food itself is solid, pretty standard TexMex fare with a few "traditional" items on the menu. However, the kitchen and service staff go above and beyond to take good care of you and your needs - another table was ordering their items to be prepared vegan (which the server took careful note of and even pointed out other items and choices on the menu for future visits)... and gluten-free. Again, not a problem, no extra charge, no delay - just great food and exemplary service at a very reasonable price that makes Chipotle seem ridiculously overpriced for the results. The one big problem is that Jerry's is downtown, and not much is open after the courthouse and law offices close. It's worth the trip any night of the week and a no-brainer if you're out to see a show at The Genesee or Clockwork.
