“At last the Genuine article”

Right next to the RAF Manston Musuem, this museum had a "real" Spitfire and Hurricane on display. Cafe was very busy but food excellent so thats why I suppose!! Free admission, but a donation is requested and proper really. Good choice of items in the shop. Exhibits very interesting.

“An absolute must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

Getting so close to both a Spitfire and a Hurricane was a great experience and some great quality displays around the two halls. Free entry was great as were the refreshments. Having the Red Arrows on base for the the various Olympic projects was an added bonus for a very enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

My 8 year old boy loves visiting here, we have been a few times this year already. Its nice to visit the museum then enjoy a lunch in the cafe too. Its a free visit but donations are helpful to ensure the running of it. Its very educational my son loves learning something different each time we go.

So much to see in a small area. Fantastic and well laid out displays, vast amount of items with an adjacent cafe with reasonable prices

“Very interesting”

What a nice old-fashioned museum, lots on display about the Second World War and a Spitfire and a Hurricane. Helpful staff and a nice cafe too.
