The wife and I have been going there for a few years now and we have always had a great time. Prior to going just recently, a friend sent me a link to this website and was nervous about going because of all the negative reviews. I couldn't believe it. Everyone has always been so nice to us. They do a great job of making everything family friendly. I was impressed with the new playground for the kids. Now, they do have a mini golf course that's nothing to write home about, but I don't go camping to rate mini golf courses. Their pool is adequate for a cool down; no laps...sorry. The grounds are well manicured and everyone there seemed to have a great time. My friends sure did. The reviews I've read make me think that either they were initially the antagonists which lead to the rude REACTION from management or they were overly critical of a non destination campground that is only meant for a convenient family getaway.
