The room 106 had ants in the bathroom.
The breakfast area was dirty with crumbs, tables dirty.
I would not stay here again. I was there for a Jimmy Buffett Concert. For one night only.. Tried to call and complain and no answer...

The hotel is in a great location fairly close to Chicago. The staff was very nice, the room was clean, and breakfast was good. It was a great value for my money.

We stayed at the Wingate for 6 nights while in town to attend the Chicago Chill Hockey Tournament in Orland Park. We were pleased with the accomodations. They put us in a handicapped room, which we would not do again, but it was not a real problem.
The hotel is quiet, rooms are clean and spacious with microwaves and small fridges, beds are very comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful, complimentary breakfast was great - especially on weekdays - there was not as good a selection on the weekends. It was nice to be able to get a coffee at anytime in the lobby.
We did not use the pool area, but did use the fitness facility. The equipment was not great, but did the job. We went for a run outside one day, and it was a challenge because of the hotel's location (not many sidewalks until you get a fair distance from the hotel). We went to a Forest Preserve not too far away, and it was a beautiful place to run.
Overall, for the price, it is a comfortable place to stay. We would return to this hotel.

I stayed at the Wingate for four nights with my family for my wedding. We had a block of about 15 or so rooms and everyone had a good time.

The breakfast buffet was incredible! Very good selection each morning! There was a pool and hot tub that was small, but it got a lot of use. There was also a small gym, I don't think we used that at all. They also had a business center to make copies or fax or use their computers, they also had Internet access in the rooms.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet and much larger than the typical hotel room I've been in before.
