After recently dining at Maggiano's in Skokie, my wife and I were very surprised by the unsanitary food preparation at this restaurant. First, I noticed a hair floating in my bevarage. Second, my wife was served her entree with a small dead bug on the side of her lasagna. The restaurant offered to re-serve the lasagna and pay for our dinner. Needless to say, we left that establishment without having dinner and will never go back there again. From the outside, this restaurant looks wonderful - even has valet parking. However, this restaurant is not what it appears to be at all. For the prices they charge, they should be able to maintain sanitary conditions for their food preparation. Maggiano's and its other locations will never be frequented by us again after this experience.
