Was really shocked with this particular Radisson since i had generally had good luck with others. Upon check-in the clerk who spoke very little English and was dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt took 10 to 15 minutes to find my reservation and actually get me the key card. While walking to my room i noticed that this hotel is quite old but the hallways were in decent shape. Upon entering the room i noticed that the carpet and furnishings were definately older and not up to typical Radisson standards. The bathroom was also fairly clean but not upscale in any way, shape or form. The bed was a very comfortable sleep number bed with high quality linens. The wireless internet was out and remained that way through my entire 3 day stay. Staff seemed genuinely upset not that one of their most important ameneties was unavailable but that I kept repeatedly asking then when and / or if it would be remedied. They had no answers and i seriously doubt if the wireless network had been working for quite some time. This place appears to have some serious issues and for that reason i would advise choosing other accommodations in this area.

One would expect a high level of professionalism from a Radisson but the hotel was just a namesake one. First the staff who checked us in was horribly rude! He had no idea what good customer service was and we were actually shocked by the way he was behaving. Other than the fact that we did not get the rooms we has booked for, he was not even helpful enough to provide us with a rollaway bed. He kept blaming hotels.com!
The Internet was slow. The room was good but not dusted properly. Moreover we had no toilet paper. We did not get any response even after leaving messages for the housekeeping, so we had to go up and ask for one at the front desk. Then somebody does come in with the toilet paper and leaves it at the door without even knocking or informing us!!
Ridiculous staff and service.

I booked this hotel through united.com for one night on Sat. I don't even know where to start.
First, the condition
When I first got there, it looked pretty good from out side. But the room was not a 3 or 4 star hotel. The carpet was quite old and two lamp out of four weren't working. One phone wasn't working either. Another phone was working but was really dirty.
This hotel is really old and wasn't maintained well at all.
Second, the noise
Maybe it was just for us. Maybe we wasn't lucky. The room number 125. There was a webbing reception and people were running and talking on the hall way. Also right next to this room was an elevator. Constantly making loud noise. We are not picky people. But believe me it was going on until 2~3 AM. I complained and complained but only thing they can do is nothing. The guy at the front desk was no way near the nice or kind. He was keeping saying there was no other room we can move or get refund because we booked it on internet.
In the morning was worse. The other person at the desk didn't seem to care about it at all.

It is a better idea to go rather motel 6 than this "hotel"

I booked through Priceline and the hotel seemed nice. We'd stayed in a Radisson once before and while the staff at that hotel was rude, the hotel itself was nice. This time in Schaumburg, both the staff and the facilities left something to be desired.

I went to check in and was told that Priceline only reserved one room on my behalf. I waited while the agent called Priceline. The agent helping me was the only bright spot in this stay. Her name was Kate and she was professional and friendly. However while I was in line, the gentleman next to me was also having difficulty checking in. He had booked two rooms also and again, the hotel only had reservations for one. However, the agent helping him was very, very rude. She actually told him, "Well we only have you for one. So what are you going to do about it?" Aghast, he sort of stood with his mouth hanging open before he said he thought the hotel needed to fix it's error. The agent: "Well I don't know what you're going to do because it's not here. Sorry." She shrugged her shoulders and just stared at him. I felt so bad for him and relieved that I was being helped by Kate and not this woman.

Our rooms were adjoining which was nice. They only had an outdoor pool which was puzzling; it's Chicago. But it didn't matter anyway; it was broken. The rooms were standard fare; nothing special. Kate greeted me by name on my way out. Thank you Kate for being the only standout feature of the Radisson Schaumburg.
