I have to disagree with most of the reviews on this hotel. By far one of the biggest disappointments I have had in Chicago. The elevators are very dirty and need of repair. The carpet in our room was dirty. The ceiling had water damage. The window curtains are too short so the street light kept our room bright all evening. The breakfast was standard nothing special. The bed was extremely soft, so if like soft beds you will like this. The towels in the room are what I would expect from a 1 star hotel, rought and thin, however when we called for extra towels they brought us nicer towels, not sure why the difference. The toliet ran all night. Our room was next to the fitness center, so this morning when someone was using the treadmill it sounded like a stampede next to our headboard. The good things I can list are the shampoo and soap were from Bath and Body works and our room was a pretty good size. As far as staff goes, I found one person at the front dest that was helpful. Emily was polite, other than her the staff was not very friendly.
