Firstly, if you are looking to save money and stay here to visit downtown Chicago, reconsider!! It is either a very expensive taxi ride away, or will take you an hour on the CTA and local buses. Plus if you like to party, the transport from the CTA stops at 10.30pm... so get used to the casino!

However, the hotel is not bad, the rooms are very comfortable and spacey, certainly enough room for a couple or travellers sharing a room. Breakfast was OK, the hot options were not as good as I expected for a US Breakfast, but you had a good choice of everything else.

Lastly.... DO NOT USE THE PHONE!!! $80 for 2 international calls to the UK in the evening!! Lasting about 20 minutes in total. RIP OFF!! Thanks :)

The place is very well priced for the comfort and other facilities (Breakfast, internet) . Very clean rooms, The best part is the staff, I checked in with my family after mid-night , therefore all i wanted was to crash and sleep. The lady at reception was nice and quickly got everything done. Even when I was checking out on asking some information the staff took the extra effort to provide the info.

Overall a good experience for a much reasonable price.

I stayed at this hotel Saturday Sept 1st.2012- this was my second time there. I drive down to Schaumburg for the Septemberfest for the day and dont like to drive home late at night. (Rockford) I usually stay each year at Country Inn and Suites but last year decided to try Stay Inn. Room is comfortable although on the small size but very clean. Bed is comfortable and the price is right. I just noticed for the first time a couple days ago that there is no area in the room to hang up clothing (closet area) but for me thats not a big deal. I was in Room 306 and this room doesn't get WiFi access. I had no problem connecting in the lobby but inside the room there was no connection. I got back late at night to the room and tried again but nothing. Being late I just went to sleep. I tried again in the morning when I woke up, still nothing. I mentioned it on the elevator down to the staff that was riding it with me and he said they can call someone about it but since I was checking out after breakfast I just went to the lobby to get the connection. I would still stay here again but next time I will request a room close to the front lobby.

The Stay Inn "fit the bill" for a one night stay. The place is clean, friendly, and a good value. The rooms were a little small but no big deal. The morning breakfast was fine. The little muffins are a dry as a popcorn fart, but the rest of the items were fine. All in all a good fit.
