My wife and adult son accompanied me to this forgettable brunch. Our hostess was in a hurry and didn't even wait for me to be seated before she stepped in front of me to toss the menus on the table and move on. Our waiter was perfunctory and disengaged. He never changed his demeanor and didn't attemp to even keep our coffee cups filled. My wife had average fare. My son had better than average potatoe pancakes. My wheat germ pancakes were tough, chewy, and devoid of any flavor. I was hoping to find some turkey sausage links or patties available on the menu since I am trying to eat more healthily and struck out. Upon leaving, I stoodup to place my wallet back in my pocket and saw our waiter transformed before my eyes. He was visiting with the people at the table behind us, laughing and being personable. I hope they left him a nice tip.
