I have to say I really enjoyed my week here. The room was comfortable it was a king room. #141 And it quiet and a above average for the price. The Continental breakfast was average. But the room was big and the AC worked great and a Big 32 inch TV. Will defiently come back again.

We choose this hotel, because it was pet friendly and in a good location - near all the shopping in town.

The room we had was nice and clean. It was single room with King Size bed and recliner on the front side of the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit was very loud and disturbed us from having a good night sleep.

The shower was okay, but height of the shower head was low - so if you are over 6ft tall - expect to kneel. They also had continental breakfast (food was okay, coffee was not), and free newspaper with our stay.

FYI - when I booked our room. I got three different rates for the same room. When I called the 800 number, I got a rate for $116; when I called the hotel directly, I got rate of $92; when, I booked online at the hotel website (www.lq.com), I got rate of $82.

The hotel is located near lots of shopping areas, and a few blocks away from Woodfield shopping mall and Costco. Wendy's is literally right next door if you need to grab a quick bite. It is also minutes off highway, which makes it a good place to stop for a night on a road trip (which was my family's case).
However, the facility shows some aging. The only thing that looked new was guest room doors that were painted bright white. The room is pretty small despite the other review. In our room, the bathroom was located in the back, so there was only a small work table between the bed and the door.
Breakfast is 6-9, but the eating area is pretty small - 4 4-person tables and 3 2-person tables - with chairs touching back to back. They had cold french toasts, hard boild eggs, cereal, and other standard stuff. This is the first and the only LQ that I've been to (and I've been to LQ enough to stay for free here) that did NOT have the hot waffle machine! Coffee tasted very watery as well. All in all, very disappointing breakfast offering.
I had loud guests a couple of doors down, so I had to call the front desk at midnight to intervene - when the desk called the room, they claimed that they were sleeping, but the noise died down immediately, so go figure.
This hotel had nothing special to offer, and not especially clean nor new. We decided not to come back unless we had to, or just needed to sleep for a night on a road trip.

Very clean and comfortable. Not a lot of extra frills, but good beds and comfortable stay. I'll be back.
