The GRAND COLD SHELLFISH PLATTER was delicious and came with a frozen champagne, vinegar and pepper which complemented the oysters beautifully. The CRISPY CALAMARI were cooked to perfection as were the SEA SCALLOPS. SHAW"S SEAFOOD PLATTER came with delicate and light shrimp scampi, sea sea scallops and a crab cake. The shrimp was light and the garlic flavor didn't linger. The crab cakes were good but included some cab shell.
The LOBSTER BISQUE and the WILD ROASTED MUSHROOMS were a disappointment. The bisque's tomato base was too prominent and mushrooms lacked the concentrated taste that comes from roasting.The CREME BRULEE though creamy had a faint vanilla taste.
