I convinced a group of friends to join me on a Wednesday at the Dew Drop Inn promising them some of the best fried chicken they would have anywhere. There were 5 of us and all had the fried chicken and everyone agreed that it was about the best they'd tasted. It came out of the kitchen piping hot and there wasn't a spot of grease on anyones plate. The sides of mashed potatoes/gravy, home style green beans with onion and pork, corn, and a very good dinner roll accompanied the meal.
Some of them drove 60+ miles one way and afterwards stated that this was a keeper and that we'd have to schedule another get together at the Dew Drop soon.
