“Two night stay for a business conference. Large two room suite.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

I stayed here for two nights for work. I didn't book the room myself so I was pleasantly surprised to open the door to a one bedroom suite. The bed was very comfortable. The only complaint is that no water came out if the faucet in the sink in the sitting area. The food was fine. Everything seemed to go smoothly with regards to the conference vAlso, they have a shuttle which runs every twenty minutes to the airport. The Lobby bar was a good place to socialize. I would stay here again.

Thank you for your review and feedback of our hotel. We apologize that there was an issue with your wet bar sink and we encourage you to let one of our staff know the next time you stay with us should anything else ever come up. We greatly appreciate your business and hope to see you here again soon!

This hotel has been the location for several business meetings and it always meets our needs. Meeting rooms are more than adequate, close to airport with free shuttle, good restaurants within a short walking distance and every room a nice 2-room suite. If you happen to be a Club level with Sheraton, the Club room on the 11th floor is very nice, great service 24/7. The Club room breakfast was a big surprise as it was way more than the expected continental. A new addition this trip was the wine tasting in the bar area from 5-6pm. All the options were rated 90 and above in Wine Spectator and going for a great price. We will definitely use this property again. Ask for Valentino to serve you in the bar or restaurant! He understands great customer service

If you need a hotel at Ohare in Chicago this is a good choice. I was here for one night on business and it was convenient to the office. While I expected it to be noisy because of its proximity to the airport it was not bad at all. I heard more noise coming from the lounge than the airport.

My room was nice. The bed was comfortable. While both the bedroom and sitting rooms had nice flat screens the TV reception was spotty. I am not sure what was up because it was a beautiful night.

The workout room was a little small for a hotel of this size. I was there right around 6 am and was fortunate to get the last recumbent bike. 3 treadmills, 2 bikes, and 2 eliptical machines is not satisfactory for a hotel of this size catering to business travelers. On top of that one of the treadmills was out of service.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I went back and forth on whether I should rate this property very good or average. I was right in the middle. I would have used a 3.5 if one was available. I would not hesitate to stay here again if my business brings me back to the area.

We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us overall and we appreciate your business! Regarding a couple of the points you brought up we will actually be switching our cable service over to a more reliable company very soon and we're also hoping to upgrade our fitness center as well where we'll have brand new equipment and move the location to a larger area with more of a variety. Hopefully we'll already have some of these changes in place during your next visit to our hotel and we look forward to seeing you here again soon!

Looks like a renovated embassy suites hotel. They did a goo job, very large open lounge for dinner or drinks. Gets loud if a convention is going on, but you can't hear it in your room. Staff was friendly, and is also pet friendly. Close to tollway, casino, and places to eat on any budget. Ask for a corner king room, you get a little more space.

Room Tip: Pet Friendly Corner King room has more space.

Very solid stay. As a Platinum Elite, I was upgraded to a nice suite. Everything was solid from the check-in experience to the bed to the shower, etc. But, the hotel definitely looks to nickel and dime customers. I got free wifi as a Platinum but there was a screen with pricing for other guests. I also hate when hotels charge for parking in the middle of nowhere. I understand parking charges for city hotels. Real estate is expensive. But, in the middle of nowhere, parking charges are just cash grabs. The parking lot had about four cars when I arrived (99% empty) but for reason I was charged $12.95 (roughly) for nightly parking. Total rip off.

As a Platinum SPG member we would first off like to thank you for your loyalty to Starwood and for your business as well. We greatly appreciate your feedback as you obviously stay at many Starwood hotels throughout the year! We thank you for taking the time to post some comments about your recent stay with us and understand your concerns regarding our parking charges. The majority of the hotels in and around Rosemont do charge for parking however the great thing about our hotel is that we do have an alternate parking option that is free of charge for our guests. We have a covered parking structure that is located kitty corner to the hotel in our complex and parking for all of our guests in the garage is free of charge. Please feel free to utilize this option the next time you're going to be traveling to our hotel and we'll look forward to seeing you here again soon!

I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a high school reunion. The location was excellent for all the places that I need to attend. The staff made you feel welcomed. They went out of their way at check-in to meet all your special needs. The lobby is very comfortable for small meeting and use of the internet. The rooms were large and comfortable. At one point that I had a problem printing several staff members teamed up to resolve the issue. Friends that visited me loved the hotel and are considering the hotel next time they are in the area.

As stated couldn't find a fault and the recently renovated bar & lounge are made a nice change as its now an open bar rather than the closed space it was previously. 3rd stay here and the Hotel itself still meets its comments as has been noted. Housekeeping is great, front desk impeccable and the Shuttle timely - rooms are not rooms but as reported suites - really great place to stay. Due recent floods in the area many roads were closed and the traffic congestion pretty bad. Felt that some Taxi Companys took advantage of this.....From the Hotel to Park Ridge is a $12-15 ride max ...we had 45min journey on Friday night due traffic - on the clock $35.00!!! I am well versed on routes in the area and had a hire car in the day - cab at Night as you do...Cab drivers were trying to use longer routes stating that the "roads were closed.." when they weren't as I had used them earlier - c'mon Rosemont taxi's you can do better!!

We appreciate your continued business and loyalty to our hotel and we're glad to hear that you've enjoyed all of your interactions and experiences with our staff. It is unfortunate to hear about the taxi service that you received during your most recent stay with us and we would encourage you to please notify the front desk staff the next time you need transportation somewhere as our complimentary shuttle service does run within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. If that is not an option then we work with several taxi cab companies in the area that will normally provide our guests with a discount and we can arrange that for you. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon!
