We stayed at this hotel for a number of nights due to our desire to be close to the airport and CTA travel. We found the room to be reasonably well-appointed and in good condition. We were located near an elevator, but we travel with a tablet that has a white noise app and that provides an adequate safeguard against noise intrusion. Fortunately, the weather was mild during our stay and we were not forced to use the a/c at night ... a lucky thing considering the fact that the cooling unit emitted a very loud grating noise whenever the compressor kicked in.
We used the shuttle to and from the airport daily for access to the CTA blue line. The shuttle runs like clockwork, leaving the hotel at 5 minutes after the hour and half-hour, and arriving at the airport for pick-up at quarter to and quarter after each hour. It is nice to know that the schedule can be depended upon. Please note, however, that the shuttle is shared with a nearby Radisson, so the possibility exists that it could arrive at the Best Western already full -- fortunately, we never encountered that problem (and it appears that Best Western has their own smaller shuttle that they could use in an emergency).
The one issue we had with the hotel was the breakfast service, which is provided at the adjacent Pine Grove Restaurant. The first two mornings of our stay were part of a holiday week-end and the hotel had a high occupancy. That translated into a terrible breakfast experience -- many items (including necessary silverware) were depleted and not replenished for a very long time. The facility was clearly understaffed and inefficient. We were among many very disgruntled customers. Blessedly, the hotel emptied out thereafter and the problem therefore disappeared -- but this remains as a major weakness.
As for the breakfast itself, it was adequate. It had most of the usual cold offerings. There were no hot items out for the taking, but they will bring you a serving of scrambled eggs with one large pancake. It's not great, but more than enough to fill you up in the morning.
One more note. Aside from the Pine Grove, there is a Shoeless Joe's grill adjacent to the hotel. There are also a couple of other hotels and a McDonald's within a short walk, but no other freestanding retail/restaurants very close by.

The airport shuttle runs every half hour, 24 hours a day, to and from O'Hare. We pick up our guests from Door 2 at the Bus Shuttle Center. When the scheduled shuttle gets full, we try our best to run our hotel van to make sure that our guests get to the airport on time. '
With regards to breakfast, we offer a free continental breakfast to all our guests. We add variety to a regular continental breakfast by adding a couple of hot items like scrambled eggs and pancakes, served by our hostess. We also offer an option for guests who prefer to order from our restaurant menu by giving discount coupons.
Once again, thank you for your time and we apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. We hope that we have you again as our guests in the near future.
