I was intrigued by the #1 ranking of Rosemont restaurants that include Gibsons, Carlucci and Rosewood so we tried it. Yes the food was good, yes it was way overpriced and considering there were only three tables occupied, the 12 or so wait staffers seemed attentive enough. However, and big however; it's in a Mall... on the second floor with nary a window and open to the mall so you never not know where you are at. Who figured this was a good idea, certainly they are not going for upscale diners or romantic voters? My guess is the busses to O'Hare bring in international shoppers with big purses who might think this is cool. Not for a native Chicagoan and not the best restaurant in Rosewood. For authentic try Basilica a few miles away or even Tuscanos, most definitely Carlucci is superior and it has windows and a view of sorts.
