We stayed at the Doubletree during my wife's conference, which was held at the hotel. The property is well maintained and the staff, througout the hotel, was friendly and provided first-rate service. If you are looking for something near O'Hare, this is a great value. The hotel has shuttle service to the airport and it is within walking distance of Rosemont's entertainment district and the Chicago Fashion Outlet, which is outstanding.

Nice hotel, but service was not up standards. Called Friday night and asked for extra blankets, they never brought them. Sunday morning there was not hot water and we all had to take cold showers, not even an apology when we checked out. Took over 10 minutes to get the valet to get our car as there was nobody at that counter even after I asked the front desk for help. I would not stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay very much. People were very good in customer service. Made you feel at home. Rooms was very clean. Wasthere for Convention at Rosemont Convention Center. Excellant location in regars to Center. Across the street.

Wonderful nice quiet hotel. Pool was nice, bar looked great but I didn't drink. Coffee shop was a little small but nice. Staff great, room quiet and room service was excellent. Will stay again. Close to Blue line for easy downtown access without driving.

This hotel needs a refurbishment in the rooms and with the staff. We stayed 2 nights and noted a staff that was inadequate to handle the work load. At 6 PM they were still servicing rooms when we popped back to the hotel before dinner. We returned to room at 10:30 PM and there had been no sign of a housekeeping visit. Our room was never serviced and they would not answer the phone. Even more interesting was when an airline pilot entered our room the next morning at 9 AM. He had been given our room. He was probably more shocked than we were upon seeing us in the room. He apologized (of course it was not his fault) and said this happened all the time at this hotel. Apart from their system problems the carpet was well worn, bathroom items such as a shower door that was ajar, an a/c system that hummed loudly and a general feel that this hotel has overdue for attention. They have high demand from the convention center so imagine they are simply harvesting for cash and saving costs by avoiding maintenance.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room if they have one. Zero advantage to staying up on the Hilton Honors floo...

The room itself was fine. Having to pay for internet access wasn't acceptable. It comes across as greedy when many other hotel chains can provide is free. The paid parking is irritating but understandable due to the location and activity. The requirement of placing a hold on the credit card for the cost plus a deposit was frustrating. This part feels the same as having to prepay for gas at stations. I don't patronize those stations.

I had high expectations for the stay but it did not meet my expectations of a Hilton. I had issues with smell in the room, not a functional Iron to horrible room service (Called 4 times for house keeping but it was never answered and a voicemail was not returned) . The TV remote was bad as well as it would work on and off. Overall i'm never staying at that location again. I felt it was no point to complain at checkout since they were busy with some conference folks.
