We only stayed for 1 day as we headed back to California but it was the perfect choice hotel for my family! The rate was only $87/nite from Holiday Inn's hotel website. So close to the airport and car rental agencies (5 mins max!). Room was clean and a past reviewer was right (we had two rooms separated by a door for privacy, which was great!). Check-in/out was a breeze. Hotel staff was friendly. Beds and pillows were absolutely comfortable, my daughter slept just fine. Didn't hear any noise at all even though the place was near the airport. Had a mini-refrigerator and microwave. There's a restaurant on-site but we didn't try it; heard it was good. McDonald's across the street; a Target store and several fast food eateries about 5-7 mins away.

Would stay here again and would highly recommend it to family and friends!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Select for the Stay, Park and Fly deal they offered. I must say that where we live Holiday Inn does not have a 'good name'. But after reading other reviews I decided this would be a deal and not to mention you don't have to pay the airports crazy parking fees!
We arrived and check in went smooth. If you go with the stay, park and fly deal it is during check in that you tell them when your flight leaves and they schedule the shuttle for your pick up. The parking garage is not right next to the hotel it is 2 building away which is not bad. Our room was on the 10th floor. The rooms are really nice and the flat screen HD TV was an added bonus. Our view was nice and I enjoyed watching the airplanes arrive and depart. The room was suprisingly quiet for how close we were to the airport and the beds were lush and comfortable.
We didn't eat at Harey Careys because it is too expensive for us [we expected that in Chicago so no big deal]. We did order some pizza to be delivered and it wasn't that good. We have had better at some of the small local joints where we live.
Bring your own drinks and water and maybe some snacks because there is nothing near by to buy that kind of stuff at besides the lobby [which is way over priced].
When we arrived back from our trip there was a little confusion on where to go for the shuttle pick up. They have a shuttle bus center you can go to and call the hotel but if you fly internationally like we did the shuttle bus comes right to that terminal [double check with front desk before departing for accurate pick up area] which we wished we would have known. The bus takes you back and you get your car, very painless process.

Stayed at this hotel recently and used a park and fly package for a trip out of O'Hare. I was pleasantly surprised at the price (approx $111 including tax) total for 4 adults. The hotel is in a good location near many restaurants and also has an onsite restaurant as well. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was a pleasant surprise as we were told we were getting a queen room w/a sleeper sofa. It was very roomy and had a tv in each room. They are currently renovating the property but we didn't notice any noise associated with that. If you use the park and fly you will be parking in a ramp approx 1 block away and although it isn't a gated lot, there is a security guard there that does hourly rounds. The ramp also has security cameras and only one entrance and exit as well. Definitely will stay at this property in the future--the price and location are right

My husband and I along with my two children and a mother in law, stayed here for a park, sleep, and fly. I needed a hotel that was quiet, comfortable, and able to hold five people. We showed up late evening to check in. We needed someplace to sleep because the plane was taking off early in the morning. Having a place to sleep that was large enough for all of us was very important. I explained my situation to the hotel when I called to book this room. Well, the room was very large. It actually had two rooms with a large door inbetween for privacy. The beds were very comfortable with soft pillows. On top of this, the room was quiet. When I checked in, we let the front desk know that we needed to leave early. They were very nice and explained how the shuttles work. We followed the instructions given, such as the times we needed to be downstairs, and the shuttle experience was fine. I most certainly would come back.
