“Nice Hotel - Good Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2011

I stayed here one night while attending a conference at the Rosemont Convention Center. The location was perfect for me - only a short walk to the conference via a raised, enclosed walkway which connects directly to the hotel. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance. I felt comfortable walking alone in the daytime but wouldn't do it at night.

I took the shuttle from O'Hare to the hotel and it was quick and easy.

The hotel is very nice. The room was great - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good TV and the service was friendly. I did not eat at the hotel or use their internet.

You cannot go wrong staying here if you need to be in Rosemont.

My husband and I attended a trade-show at the Rosemont Convention Center and stayed at the Hilton across the street. The Hilton is attached via a sky-walk so it was very easy to get in/out each day and not have to deal with traffic.
The hotel was beautifully remodeled. Our room was nice and quiet and large for a week's stay.
We took the train into the city a few nights to go to dinner and a cubs game. The transit center is an easy walk or they have a bus that can drop you off if you don't feel like walking.

I stayed here recently on a business trip. Don't let the funky backdrop colors at the front desk get you sick! The rooms are quite 'normal' and up to Hilton standards. The fitness area has the usual selection, but lacks free-weight machines.

What really struck me is the breakfast buffet. It was very 'artistic' and probably the most innovative i've seen in a long time! I wish I would have snapped a picture! They use a variety of uniquely shapped dished combined with food presentation tools. You need to see it to believe it. The taste was fine.

HHonors: free internet access (gold and diamond), breakfast buffet coupon.

We had the pleasure of staying here the night of our wedding after our reception was at the fantastic Donald E Stephens Ballroom. The hotel was in a perfect location, connected via walkway and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Everyone we worked with from front desk to sales, even the bellmen, were great! Downtown feel with the comfort of being in a central location close to the train, airport, and convention center. Only drawback was you had to pay to park there even if you were paying for an overnight stay.
I will be back as this is a perfect place to stay the night before a trip out of O'Hare!!

Booked this hotel as I was attending a conference at the Rosemont Convention Center and it looked close. It indeed was close and the Skybridge to the conference center was a plus (especially since it rained when I was there), although it did flex a bit when the wind kicked up. This was one of the few trips I booked this year without a rental car and was a little anxious, but there is good eating near by, including the hotel restaurant. Also, travel from and to the airport was rather convenient, with the bus running every 20-25 minutes. I was most nervous about the return trip as I had a 6am flight, but the 4:05 shuttle got there fast and I was through security and sitting at the gate at 4:20. Overall the hotel was very nice, convenient and the internet was fast. Very good job!

I split my time on a recent visit to ChiTown between two Hiltons - the Chicago Hilton downtown and the Hilton Rosemont/O'Hare. The Chicago Hilton wins the location prize, but the Rosemont Hilton wins the nice hotel award.
The hotel is pleasant from the minute you enter its revolving door - a big, clean, airy sleek lobby, with very attractive sitting areas and an inviting bar. It's a very relaxing and calming setting, particularly if you've been dealing with O'Harried Airport.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. My room was large, handsome and comfortable, with the requisite flat-screen TV sitting on top of the desk.
Inside the room was an uber-comfortable king-sized bed with ample pillows, along with nice furnishings and a great work desk. Much to my delight, the in-room coffee service featured Lavazza coffee and actual liquid creamer. The bathroom too was large, clean and well-equipped, with good Peter Thomas Roth bath products.
I ordered out for a Giordano's pizza so I didn't sample the room service, but the menu looked good, if typically overpriced. The hotel also featured an attractive restaurant and bar.
For recreation, the Hilton has a pool and fitness room. There's also a business center with computers, printers, etc that's free of charge to guests.
The Hilton is on River Road, the main O'Hare-area hotel strip in Rosemont. It's across from the Stephens Convention Center. The airport area is not exactly compelling, and dining options beyond the hotel are limited.
The hotel is about 2 1/2 long suburban blocks from the Rosemont stop on the CTA's blue line, and from there it's about a 35-40 minute ride into downtown Chicago. The River Road area is designed for cars, not people, but lots of people walk to the Rosemont station. And if you're tired, you can always take the hotel shuttle to O'Hare and catch the Blue Line from there.

Room Tip: Request a higher floor.

I like this Hilton as it is near O'Hare and I can fly in and take free shuttle to hotel. With CTA train nearby, you don't really need to rent a car. The hotel is clean, modern, with nice size rooms and bathrooms. I have stayed in the Junior Suite and enjoy this room if you are going to have friends visiting you. As a Hilton Honors Gold member I received free full breakfast and high speed internet on my visit in March. The restaurant has never been very busy when I have eaten breakfast their(usually on a Sunday morning). Only caveat is when there is a large "family" type convention going on. I was on the 10th floor near pool and elevators and there was a constant stream of young people passing through the hall chattering and laughing so it was noisy most of day and until after 10pm at night. The Rosemont Hilton has a nice business center and I have used it each time I stay instead of bringing my personal laptop. Nice pool on 10th floor is also a plus.

Room Tip: You cannot beat a Junior Suite
