Great hotel, great service, great food.
Magnificent views and beautiful walks, the staff are lovely and the rooms are perfect. Hang your head up high faithlegg, you deserve it. We were at a wedding at this venue and it was a perfect setting for a perfect day.

Lovely House (Hotel) & grounds. All staff very welcoming & friendly. Lovely sitting rooms downstairs. Food was cooked beautifully. Good selection at breakfast, eggs cooked to order. Large well equipped bedrooms, (we stayed in newer wing). Spa area not so great. Pool not the best, changing rooms & shower area not so well kept ( no bags to put wet swimsuits in). Nice large jacuzzi.
Hotel well suited fo relaxing stay after ferry crossing to Rosslare. (Use passage East ferry from Rosslare (a lot quicker) . Will definitely stay again. Very soon, hopefully.

Room Tip: We stayed in wing room. Excellent, just down corridor from reception, very quiet.

We recently spend 3 most enjoyable days and nights at Faithlegg hotel in Waterford. We availed of one of their excellent mid-week get-away offers and have to say that the experience was excellent. The room was lovely and in very good order. The leisure centre is very well appointed with pool, sauna, steam room and weights room + the large jacuzzi was very welcome. Food and drinks were very good and the overall experience was one quality and relaxation. I'd fully recommend this location to potential holiday-goers.

Lovely hotel,we stayed for a wedding, very expensive and if you have children be prepared to hear alot of sighs and see a lot of eye rolling! Food was terrible, service was even worse, the bartender at the main bar took 15 mins to take my order, then he didnt get it right! It was just lunch. We stayed at Faithlegg House on a driving tour around Ireland, on the recommendation of a supposed travel expert. Others we spoke with later had received similar bad advice. The hotel is set in the middle of a lovely golf course, wooded area, but is not a place you really want to spend the night, or stay for a meal. The rooms are undecorated (nothing on the walls, lamps that don't work, 1950's style furniture, and not even a pencil and paper near the phone to write a number on - - and this was in the "new" modern wing! Dining at Faithlegg is a group experience -- literally. They cater to large groups (thinks bus loads) served in a cramped dining room cattle car style. Nothing elegant or gracious about your experience here - either dinner or breakfast (we left before lunch - we had quite enough of their hospitality. And don't expect to be greeted by anyone remotely Irish -- all the staff is Eastern European, who are earnest and diligent folks worked to the bone. Our 3 hour dinner (starting at 9 pm, the earliest reservation we could garner after driving all day (hint: book ahead if you dare try this place)), was served by the same folks who served breakfast starting at 6 am. Apparently sleep is not on the staff's agenda, and it shows. Best intentions and diligence do not make up for a lack of competence or grace.

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise for the shortcomings you mentioned, particularly in relation to your dining experience. We offer late reservations in our restaurant to cater for guests who prefer to dine later in the evening and for travellers arriving late to the hotel, however many guests opt for earlier reservations. Making a dinner reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment in the evening.
I hope you return to the hotel for us to give you the four standard you should have received during your first visit.

Best Regards,
Liam Moran
