Actually, we didn't stay at the hotel, however had passes for the water resort. We've visited another Co Co Key (in Arlington Hts) and this one, by comparison, is smaller, and not really worth the cost of the daypass admission. $19.95 for the day; $15.95 for a 1/2 day. We thankfully didn't have to pay for the passes, but after experiencing the park for free, wouldn't pay for these by any means.
There's a fair sized arcade. Only one choice of food- Pizza Hut. Two hot tubs- not terribly hot, which was nice. The lazy river was a small and pointless. The tube and body slides were fun. The kids area is a good size and fun, as well as the small child area. All in all, it IS a good waterpark, however that hefty price tag isn't really justified.
However, if you're staying in town overnight, it's an added perk, so I suppose that would make it worth the cost of the hotel room.
