The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.

Great Room Size. All Suites.

To be avoided. Upon arrival, I was told that reservation would not be honored due to renovation of rooms being behind schedule. This reservation was made three weeks before, and I had validated the reservation two days before arrival. I was told that Quality Suites had arranged for space at another property that would honor our rate. We checked in, and then found out through an Internet query that the rate for this motel was $33 less than Quality Suites. I checked out and stayed at Comfort Inn, which I highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed there May 8.There was only rooms with Queen size beds left.
It was very nice clean and quiet.We enjoyed happy hour and next morning breakfast.
The price was good.There is an excellent restaurant across the street.We were tired
and did not want to drive somewhere to eat.Highly recomended

We were in Rockford for Softball Nationals and stayed for a week at Quality Suites. They do have a decent breakfast buffet; however, that's about the only nice thing I can say about this hotel. They also have a ‘happy hour’ between the hours of 5 and 7. However, their happy hour consists of beer and potato chips and leaves a LOT to be desired. They were rude and would not even let us sit at the tables after 7:30 - meaning we couldn't talk, play cards, etc... unless we met in one of our rooms.

The ‘suites’ are VERY small and should not be called suites. The rooms were not clean to start with, and when they clean, they don't do a very good job. They claim to change the linens every other day - they don't. All of our rooms smelled like smoke even though they were non-smoking rooms.

I would not recommend staying in this hotel, especially for business.
