“Great family owned cafe'”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

This is a local family owned cafe near where I live. They often have great specials and their prices are very reasonable. The staff and chef are very friendly and accommodating, and have always given me excellent service. The food is above the quality you would expect for the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Nicely located in downtown Rock Island - the town has a lot of interesting architecture that you can enjoy through the restaurant windows. An extensive menu that is very reasonably priced. I had the "Doing What We Do Best" omelette which had feta cheese, tomato and onion in it. Very flavorful! It also came with hash browns and toast (they offer raisin toast - yum!) for $6.50. My husband had the pancakes and sausage - he said the pancakes were really good, too. The staff was very attentive and FRIENDLY. The decor is dated but clean. We're tickled we found it.
