I stayed at this hotel from Thursday, May 15 through Sunday, May 18. Originally, I had two separate reservations because my plans had changed and I needed to add an extra night. When I called to add the night, the hotel was booked for non-smoking rooms and only had a smoking room available, so I took it.
Upon check-in on Thursday night, I asked if I could remain in a non-smoking room for the duration of my stay. An employee Matthew told me that it wasn’t possible. I was disappointed but understood.
The next morning, I decided to try again. This time, I encountered Jason, who was very friendly and listened to my concerns. He immediately took it upon himself to try to accommodate me. Jason was extremely pleasant and very professional. I commented to him how much I appreciated his time and he told me that he considers taking care of his guests as his number one priority! It certainly showed. He really thought outside the box, and was creative in finding a way for me to have a non-smoking room for the duration of my stay.
In my opinion, Jason represents customer service at its finest. He is friendly, understanding, capable, and professional. I really felt that I mattered to him, and that I was his only guest. It was very heartwarming and refreshing to see that excellent customer service still exists!
My room was clean, comfortable, quiet and roomy. The pool was nice and warm and clean also. The breakfast bar, which was complimentary, had cold and hot breakfast items. The young lady who ran it was extremely pleasant and friendly. There were also complimentary newspapers to read. There was a desk in the lobby with complimentary internet access and a bookshelf to borrow books from. Coffee was available 24 hours.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The price was reasonable and the staff friendly.
