My family (5 of us) stayed at the Residence Inn in Peoria for 3 nights. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Check in was very quick and painless. Our room was on the first floor and easily accessible by one of the entrances. The room was great, it had a bathroom in each bedroom. One bedroom was considerably larger than the other but both were just fine. The room also had a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, dishes, and a coffeemaker. It also had a fireplace but we didn't use it. Both bedrooms and the living room had a TV set with a lot of channels. The only negatives might be that none of our locks (other than to the outside corridor) worked.
Our room also included a free breakfast buffet in the morning. It was wonderful, they had donuts, bagels, bread, cereal, waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and more. We really enjoyed it.
My kids went swimming in the indoor pool and also went into the hot tub and really enjoyed themselves.
The hotel was right off of the mall parking lot..you could actually walk if you wanted to. It was also close to Target, Best Buy, Walgreens, Panera, IHOP, and many other restaurants.
Be warned, the construction around the hotel IS AWFUL!!!!! But, the construction all around Peoria is the same so you really can't escape it by going to other hotels. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
