The beer is in very good condition unusually for a pub the wine is acceptable and at the correct temperature. Also a good choice of both. Now for the however, most of the seating available is button stools which are frankly bloody uncomfortable after approx 1/2 an hour. The Thai food is also acceptable but because of the seating arrangements makes the whole experience rather a chore. There are plenty of tables but stools at tables not for us. The toilets are cramped and could be fresher but that could be said for some of the locals! Another big downer is the music. It's to loud totally unrecognisable and tuneless. Nonetheless the beer is good. One other point is the fact that Lindfield for reasons best known to the geriatric village council does not have an ATM except for one in the Red Lion opposite which is not free to use. So come prepared as some of the local shops will only take cash.
