“Wonderful Steak Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

This was a birthday dinner and what a great one it was! The steaks were wonderful and cooked to perfection. We ordered the 3 sides to share and had the lobster mac n' cheese which was my favorite, the smashed red potatos and the mushrooms. All were wonderfully delicious!

“Nice vibrant restaurant, but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

We have been to this restaurant several times on Thanksgiving and would highly recommend it. The food was excellent. However, the three times we have visited on other days, I would say the food is a tad overpriced. This last visit, three of our party ordered the pork chops, which were marked as a specialty, but not one of the three who ate them thought they were anything out of the ordinary. They were very big, but nothing special. The two who had the tortilla encrusted halibut were happy, but the last person had chicken and again thought it was nothing special. When you're paying $40 just to get you entrée and a side (split three ways) of asparagus, you expect a special meal. With some of the least expensive wine and an appetizer split three ways, no dessert and no soups or salads, our bill without tip was about $60 per person. For that price everyone should go away saying they had a very, very good meal. Also, our service this last time was very slow. That has not been the case, though, in the two previous visits, so this might be an aberration.
Overall, some things on the menu are very good, others less impressive. Noise level is quite high in the restaurant, which can be fun or a turnoff, depending on your mood. Give it a chance, but know the experience will not be cheap.

“Great place for private parties”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

We were here for a sad occasion: a buffet meal after a memorial service. The fruit, cheese, and vegetable platters had an excellent selection of fresh foods. The tapas of small enchiladas, "sliders" and bruschetta were all very good. The private rooms are actually in the atrium of the Mid America Plaza building, not directly connected to the main dining room, This made for a very quiet and intimate setting for the occasion.

“GREAT steak and wine.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

This place is great for steaks...I mean it's up there with Morton's and all the others. You will want to get a bottle of wine and they have a good selection.

It wasn't too busy and the staff was friendly.

Try it...and you will like it.
