My sister & I came to Oak Park for a funeral, & Neal & Eileen were very understanding; they even offered to drive us to the church service, when our ride did not show up! Longwell Hall is a lovely home,& extremely interesting. We stayed in the "Emma Room" upstairs, which was comfortable; however the room was cold most of the time. Also, you could not lock the bedroom door from the outside; and the lock on the inside was stuck--so that was a real safety problem. Neal made a fabulous hot breakfast every morning! Our hosts were pleasant--however, they never really asked us if things were satisfactory, which would have given us an opening to talk about the lack of heat and locks. All things considered, I would stay there again, & be more vocal about the above mentioned issues.
