I've read the previous reviews and want to give an update (from you my point of view) on this recently renovated hotel. I have stayed here on 4 separate occassions within the last 6 months and its operations are consistently above average.

This hotel is located on a golf course and is quiet; especially in the winter months. Large parking area (free). No retail stores within walking distance.

The hotel went through major renovations in both the common areas and the sleeping rooms. Sleeping rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms, though not especially large, had granite countertops and large shower head. Flat screen TV and a small refrigerator are in the room.

Platimun members have a good chance for room upgrade as there are many suites . Conceirge lounge located in the lower level is large and well appointed. Internet $9.95 a day or may be included in the rate. Large fitness center with plenty of equipment.

This is my preferred Marriott property in the Oak Brook Area however, the Marriott on 22nd located across from the Oak Brook Mall and the Renassaince located on the Oak Brook Mall parking lot both have been recently renovated and are very nice properties that I would also recommend- ttz

This was my 3rd time back to this hotel/resort. I celebrated my 13th year wedding anniversary and it was fabulous. Upon check-in the concierge was immediately available to help me with my bags to my room and they ask me what brought me to their hotel that weekend and I told them that it was my anniversary weekend. After reaching my room, I was sent up a bottle of wine and fruit and cheese. VERY NICE! The room was comfortable and I love the renovations they have done. The staff was great. There was a snow storm one day and after being gone for most of the day, we came back to the grounds and the parking lot and entrance way was clear of ice and snow. The bar staff was great as well as room service. One of my favorite spots in Oakbrook for sure.

The hotel looks new and according to the front desk the hotel just finished a total hotel renovation that cost $13 million

i have stayed here yearly for the past few years, and really like the place, altho i think they changed the exterior paint color, which frightened me somewhat. it's PINK. this time i stayed in room 903. it was lovely, with modern decorating, a big comfy bed and a gorgeous golf view. room service was prompt, food good.
it is very close to clarendon hills, hinsdale, etc. it is very easy to find, and in/out is easy as it has it's own light at the entrance. i would recommend!
